The Algorithm

Like many creatives and content creators, I have seen a gradual drop of the reach of my posts over the years.
It’s sad to see how people who like (or hate) what you do and the community you worked so hard to build don’t even see what you put online anymore, just because the companies who own these platforms prioritize an aggressive monetization of their product and well paying clients.
Although some can argue this is a valid business model, others point out that it were the content creators that made the success of these brands to begin with.
All things said, together with the impact of AI, it’s just another case of creative people getting the short end of the stick.
There’s just no escaping capitalism. What do you think?
